How To Submit

You can submit through Google Forms, through our Duosuma, or by emailing thequasarreview@gmail.com. We will send an email within a month regarding the outcome.

Why Submit?

The Quasar Review is an international magazine, working with authors and receiving readers from 65 countries, with a focus on quality (an average acceptance rate of <5%) and accessibility (free submissions globally). We reach over 30,000 views across platforms annually, and expect to reach over 45,000 in the following months. In our past editions, we have published authors who combined have:

• Received 60+ Pushcart Prize and 25+ Best Of The Net Nominations
• Been awarded 7 of the most prestigious industry recognitions the literary landscape has to offer
• Judged Canada's National Magazine Awards & Edited for the California State Poetry Quarterly
• Won dozens of prestigious film festivals from Hollywood to Europe

Simultaneously, The Quasar Review has published up-and-coming high schoolers and one 7th grader.

The Thirteenth Edition is currently accepting submissions throughout August. From the 10th to the 20th of the month, The Review undergoes a special Hot Submission Period, where submitters will receive 3 sentences of personalized feedback.

Rights, Contracts, & Timeframe

• Publication Timeline: Editions go live in the second week of every month.
• Response Time: We take around a week to a month to respond. If it has been more than three months without an update, email us at thequasarreview@gmail.com.
• Copyright: As the creator, you retain full copyright upon publication.
• Rights Granted: Upon acceptance, you will be requested to grant The Quasar Review First Worldwide Serial Rights and non-exclusive digital archival rights.
• Exclusivity: You cannot publish accepted pieces anywhere (including social media) for 60 days after publication.
• Credit: If the work is reprinted subsequently online or in print, The Quasar Review must be credited.

Submission Prerequisite

Please sign up for our free Substack newsletter. This is necessary for The Quasar Review to continue operating and for us to review your submission. We will not consider applications from unsubscribed users.
